Harper Hangs On For Win at Shalimar Pointe Pointe!!!
Jacob Harper had a one stroke lead going into the final round of the Emerald Coast Tour event at Shalimar Pointe. His three rounds of 72-68-71-211 was good for a 3 shot win over Logan Perkins and Michael Shears. Shears was the first round leader had rounds of 70-73-71 to finish t 214. He tied with Logan Perkins of McDonough GA. Perkins had rounds of 73-69-72-214. Perkins and Harper were tied going into the final hole but Perkins went for the par 5 18th in two and hit it out of bounds. Harper made birdie on 18 and that was the 3 shot difference. Mikey Landry and Cameron Bonnor tied for 4th at 216. Bonnor had a final round 67 which set the new course record on the newly renovated Shalimar Point Layout.
