Pierce Goes Wire to Wire at Marcus Pointe
Brandon Pierce took the first round lead with a 68 and followed that up with a 67- 71- 206 to win the Emerald Coast Tour event at Marcus Pointe in Pensacola FL. It was his second win in less than a month as he won the Rocky Bayou Classic last month. It was his third win on the Emerald Coast Golf Tour. The former LSU golfer is now second on the money list for the year. Sam Love of Birmingham AL finished second at five under 211.
Christian Bosso of Pensacola FL and a former University of West Florida player was third at 216. Ryan Benton fished third at 218.
