Doug Barron and Sonny Michaud are the 2019 Champions of the Emerald Coast Tour Silver Slipper event. The 54 hole event was rained out the final day. Most of the players were able to complete nine holes the final day but a storm moved in and finished play for the day. Barron and Michaud each received $5000 for the victory. Barron and Michaud both shot 66 67-133 to win by four strokes over David Morland who finished at 137. This was was Sonny Michaud’s first event on the tour. Barron is the tour leading money winner for the year. Blaise Wilson finished fourth at 139. Zack Ripley was fifth at 141. Talin Rajendranath was sixth at 144. The Pro Am was won by David Morland and Josh Monk and Mike Dvis and Papa John Hicks.
The event was a big success and much thanks to Silver Slipper Casino for their tremendous support of the event. Also thanks to Chris and Maury at Diamondhead for their help during the event. The course was great.
