Seiffert Wins Fall Championship at Regatta Bay in Destin FL
Chase Seiffert got off to a hot start firing a 7 under 65 in the first round. He followed that up with a 6 under 66 to take a four shot lead heading into the final round of the Fall Championship, His final round 69 was good for a two shot round over Jake Tucker of Cullman AL. Tucker had rounds of 66-69-67-202 to claim second place. Scott Strohmeyer who is a past winner of this event finished third at 204. Mike Small the current golf coach at the University at Illinois fished in a tie for fourth with Luke Tucker and Michael Arnaud who won on the web,com tour this year.
Seiffert who had a top 10 finish this year in the PGA tour event in Connecticut is fully exempt on the web.com tour for 2019. Seiffert is also a former Florida State golfer that played on the same team as Daniel Berger and Brooks Koepka. We wish Chase and Michael Arnaud the best for next year.
The course was in great shape for the event.
The Pro Am was won in a playoff with professional Sam Love and amateurs Tommy McVoy, Jack Williams and Cliff Mowe.
The shootout was won by Scott Strohmeyer and Tommy McVoy. Much Thanks to Cory Fosdyck at Merrill Lynch for the sponsorship in the shootout.
