Arnaud Wins Silver Slipper Pro Classic @ Diamondhead!!!
Michael Arnaud had a opening round of 75 in the Emerald Coast Tour Silver Slipper Pro Classic. He came back with a course record tying 64 in the second round and a final round 70-209 to win the Silver Slipper Classic by one stroke over Glenn Northcutt and Chase Seiffert. Arnaud who lives in nearby Covington LA started the final round one stroke back of Chase Seiffert who was at 138 after a 67-71. Seiffert shot a 38 on the front nine and came back with a 34 on the back to shoot a even par 72 and finish one stroke back at 210. Glenn Northcutt was making some noise as he blistered the front side with a 33 to take a 3 stroke lead over Arnaud and Seiffert heading into the back nine. Northcutt made 3 bogies and one birdie on the back nine for a 38 and a 71 to finish one back. His bogey on the final hole would be the difference in the tournament.
Arnaud started his back nine with two bogies on 10 and 11 but would come back with 4 birdies to shoot his final round 70.
The Pro Am was one by Ben Perdue and John Hicks: Mike Davis and Henry Lee.
